Baling Mountain

Hello everyone! My name is Nur Alia Nazifa Binti Md Bashari. I am glad to share about my hometown here. As we know, there’s no people who doesn’t love their hometown. Everybody love their hometown, so do I. First of all, the definition of hometown is the place where we grew up with care and love. So, let’s begin! I am from Baling where is located in Kedah. In Baling, there are so many great place to visit. In this blog, I would like to tell you about a tourist site, a significance mosque a great place to eat and shopping mall.

First of all, I would like to share about :

The Tourist Site

  There are some interesting tourist site in Baling. But in this blog I would like to share the main attraction of Baling, Ulu Legong Hot Spring Recreational Centre which is located in Baling district at southern of Kedah state. This place is in the village area so it is very nice and relaxing. 

Ulu Legong Hot Spring is a great place to visit with family or friends. There are many hot springs with different temperatures and water levels. The hot springs are quite large and the temperature level is from 30 to 70 degree Celsius. This hot spring also provide a separate hot spring pool for kids and adults. There are provide bathroom facilities, toilets and changing rooms for tourists who come there.

  Besides, there are also provide lots of chalets for the tourist to stay there. The price of the chalets is according to the size of the room. The more exclusive it is the more expensive it becomes. It is a good place to unwind yourself because this place is full of nature beauty and far away from the city hustle so it nice for a family to enjoy there. Nowadays, lots of people come to the hot spring in the wee hours to enjoy the hot spring. Tourist do not have to worry about being late because this place is open for 24 hours everyday. So the tourist no need to rush to go there. By the way, tourist can also bring tents to spend the night over there other than staying the night in chalet. There will be a site to pitch the tent there.

The Significance Mosque

    The significance Mosque in Baling is Ridzwaniah Mosque which is located in Baling town. There’s a river behind of this mosque. This mosque was once famous for the lush growth of date trees. After the renovation, the architecture of this mosque become very interesting and beautiful. This mosque is very comfortable including the toilet. This mosque is also famous for its level of cleanliness which is always well maintained by the mosque committee. These day, many people take pictures there including the new bride and groom. They made this mosque as a background of their pictures. This is because this mosque has a beautiful Baling mountain in the background. In addition, this mosque is also always filled with people that love to pray there. Many people fit to enter this mosque because of its suitable width.

They choose the color white to symbolize the purity that means a place of worship for Muslims.

The Great Place to eat

    It is customary to find out about great restaurants before traveling so as not to put yourself at risk.

  For me, I think Oishii Garden Restaurant is very amazing. The chef choose to combine the Japanese and Korean also Western concept to this restaurant. They also set a high standard to their food. They serve us a quality in food. The food are not just looks good but taste good either.

This restaurant is popular to their delicious western food such as chicken chop, lamb chop, salad, spaghetti and others. Don't worry if you don't like western food, they also prepare steamboat dishes such as beef or lamb, seafood, vegetables and delicious tom yum soup. They serve the Japanese and Korean style for the steamboat so they are definitely different from the other restaurants.

The Shopping Centre

The main attraction to the local and tourist is the shopping centre that provide everything from food to necessities. Billion is one of the biggest shopping centre in Baling. Many people will go there if they want to buy something because Billion Shopping Centre have everything.

One part of the things

Conclusion, Billion Shopping Centre is one of the place that favored by many people.
